The massage centre in Valencia, ALMIBEN was founded in 1942 by Don Miguel Benito Seguí and his son Miguel Benito Martí as a clinic for Nursing, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. Since then, it has served society by providing excellent solutions based on physical therapies, massages and ancient remedies from the Classical Spanish Pharmacopoeia.
Currently, it operates as a centre for massage and natural remedies in Valencia, maintaining the philosophy based on an efficient and economical service.
Ancient remedies are classical medicines that are handcrafted from plants, minerals and animal substances.
The most common examples that can be found in ancient books of Ancient Medicine and Pharmacopoeia are recipes for ointments, salves, elixirs, concoctions, liniments, medicinal oils and lotions.
Today, most of these remedies are in disuse, but many of them proved to be really effective in curing illnesses or remedying physical and emotional ailments.
Master formulas can only be prescribed by a medical doctor. However, many remedies such as liniments, alcohols or medicinal oils can be used at home or in manual therapies.
